Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support school districts in Carmichael, CA, for the 20252026 school calendar year. This full-time, school-based contract position offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive impact on students' communication and academic success.

Pay Rate: Starting at $65/hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations

Create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs

Work collaboratively with special education teams, teachers, and families
-
Maintain compliance with IDEA and California education standards
Federal and California State Requirements:
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Active California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential
-
California state licensure through the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
-
Fingerprint clearance and background checks as required by the California Department of Education

Authorization to work in the United States
