About the Role:
Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Occupational Therapists for full-time positions within school districts in the Poulsbo, Washington area. This is an excellent opportunity to provide critical therapy services that enhance students ability to participate fully in educational activities and daily living tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to meet students unique needs.

Provide direct occupational therapy services focused on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional independence.

Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and integrate therapy goals within the classroom setting.

Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate progress notes, and prepare reports in compliance with school district policies.

Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to educational planning and goal setting.

Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in pediatric occupational therapy within educational environments.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Applicants must meet all applicable local and state requirements, including but not limited to:

Valid Occupational Therapist licensure or certification as required by the State of Washington.

Compliance with all professional and educational standards mandated by Washington state and local school districts.

Experience providing occupational therapy services to children in school or clinical settings.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Successful completion of background checks and any additional district-specific requirements.
