State Requirements for Speech-Language Pathologists in Maryland:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Maryland SLP License issued by the Board of Examiners for Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers & Speech-Language Pathologists.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required.

Experience in early intervention settings is a plus.
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide early intervention services in Leonardtown, MD. This full-time role focuses on supporting young children in developing essential communication skills during their formative years.
Experience and Requirements:

Assess and evaluate speech and language development in young children.

Create and implement individualized therapy plans.

Collaborate with families, teachers, and specialists to support student progress.

Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions.

Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy plans.

Participate in meetings to develop and review Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
