Typical Job Duties:

Conduct evaluations and provide therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders.

Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other school staff and parents.

Consult with teachers to integrate communication goals into the classroom.

Document student progress and maintain records in compliance with district and state requirements.
Minimum Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Valid Florida Department of Health license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain one.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision available.

Compliance with all federal and state licensure/certification requirements for school-based SLPs in Florida.

Successful completion of background check and fingerprint clearance per state and district regulations.
