Typical Job Duties:

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.

Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school staff and parents.

Provide therapy services individually or in small groups, both in and out of the classroom.

Consult with teachers and staff to ensure student success across educational environments.
Minimum Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Valid Florida license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain one.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY supervision available.

Compliance with all federal and state licensure or certification requirements for school-based SLPs in Florida.

Successful background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state and district policies.
