Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the West Springfield, MA area. This position is for the 20252026 school year, running from August 25, 2025 to June 25, 2026.
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified professional who is passionate about supporting students communication development in an educational setting.
Requirements:

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Valid Massachusetts SLP license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
-
Active or pending Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) educator license
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)
-
School-based experience preferred but not required
-
Ability to pass background checks and fingerprinting as required by the district
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
-
Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
-
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and service planning
-
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state standards
