Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Oakland, California area. This role is for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, with dates from August 8, 2025, through May 29, 2026.
Position Overview:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide essential speech and language services to students, supporting their communication needs and helping them achieve academic success.
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, fluency, voice, and communication disorders

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs

Deliver therapy services to students in individual and group settings

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress

Document student progress and prepare reports for IEP meetings
-
Stay up to date with current best practices and professional development
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including but not limited to:

Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification

Credential or certification as required by the California Department of Education

Experience working with school-aged children in a school setting

Knowledge of state and local education regulations and compliance

Strong communication and organizational skills
