About the Role:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join a dynamic educational team in Woodhaven, MI. This position will provide essential psychological services to support students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs in compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for special education eligibility and educational planning

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Provide counseling, consultation, and intervention strategies to support students mental health and learning

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support school-wide behavioral programs
-
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with Michigan Department of Education standards
Education & Certification Requirements:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field from an accredited institution

Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification (Michigan Department of Education)

Completion of a supervised internship or practicum in school psychology

Minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a school psychologist or in a related field
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Michigan special education laws and regulations

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience working in K-12 school settings
