School-Based Social Worker
Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate and qualified School Social Worker to join our network of professionals providing dedicated services to students across educational settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work within school systems and a passion for supporting the mental, emotional, and social well-being of students.
Job Duties:

Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing academic, behavioral, or social-emotional challenges

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create strategies that support student success

Conduct risk assessments and crisis interventions as needed

Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs, 504 plans, and behavior intervention plans

Maintain accurate documentation of student interactions, services provided, and progress

Serve as a liaison between the school, home, and community resources

Facilitate communication between students and families with school staff to promote engagement and positive outcomes
Requirements:

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

Active state licensure/certification as required by the state of practice (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, or equivalent)

Experience in a school setting is preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
