Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Physical Therapists for a full-time remote position serving school districts in the Albuquerque, NM area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting students' physical development and helping them succeed in a school-based setting.
Position Overview:
This role involves delivering virtual physical therapy services to students with a range of needs, collaborating with educational teams, and contributing to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Responsibilities Include:

Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations of students motor skills and functional abilities.

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.

Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
-
Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input as needed.

Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district regulations.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following state and local licensure requirements to be considered:

Current New Mexico licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT), issued by the New Mexico Physical Therapy Board.

Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Active New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) licensure or willingness to obtain one for school-based services.

Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred.

Proficient in delivering services via teletherapy platforms (training and support available).

Must pass a background check and any district-required screenings.
