We are seeking dedicated professionals passionate about supporting students' academic, emotional, and behavioral development within an educational setting.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Applicants must meet all local and state requirements for practicing as a School Psychologist in New Jersey, including:

Masters or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Valid New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) certification as a School Psychologist
Completion of a supervised internship in school psychology
Background check and fingerprint clearance (per NJDOE guidelines)
Strong communication, assessment, and consultation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, educators, and administrators

Key Responsibilities:

As a School Psychologist, responsibilities typically include:

Conducting psychoeducational evaluations to assess students cognitive, academic, emotional, and social functioning
Interpreting assessment results and developing comprehensive reports
Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to eligibility determinations
Providing consultation services to teachers, staff, and families to support student development
Supporting the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans
Delivering counseling services to students individually or in groups as needed
Promoting mental health and crisis response within the school environment
