Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced School Psychologists for full-time positions with school districts in the Columbus, IN area for the upcoming school year. Details:
- Location: Columbus, IN
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Age group and caseload to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including: - A Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid Indiana School Psychologist License issued by the Indiana Department of Education
- Completion of a state-approved internship or practicum in School Psychology
- Familiarity with special education law, IEP development, and evaluation procedures
- Ability to pass all background and reference checks required by the school district
Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Develop and present reports for multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Participate in crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
