We are looking for passionate professionals who are committed to helping students develop essential communication skills that support academic success and social engagement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements for practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Jersey, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Specialist certification issued by the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE)

State licensure through the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology Advisory Committee
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but CFs may be considered
-
Completed clinical fellowship or equivalent practicum experience in a school setting
-
Current background check and fingerprint clearance

Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, responsibilities typically include:

Conducting assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on students needs
-
Delivering direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups
-
Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
-
Collaborating with educators, families, and other service providers to support students' goals
-
Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Providing consultation and training to staff on communication strategies and supports
