Typical Job Duties:

Provide occupational therapy services to students to support their educational goals and enhance participation in daily school activities.

Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions that address students needs.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers to ensure integrated support for each student.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives.
Minimum Requirements:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Current Virginia licensure as an Occupational Therapist issued by the Virginia Board of Medicine or eligibility to obtain one.

Compliance with all federal and state education and licensure requirements for school-based occupational therapists in Virginia.

Successful background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state and district guidelines.
