Typical Job Duties:

Conduct evaluations and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.

Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate with team members.

Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and consult with staff to support student success.
Minimum Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Valid Louisiana SLP license from the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (LBESPA) or eligibility to obtain one.

Compliance with all federal and state education and licensure requirements for school-based SLPs in Louisiana.

Successful background check and fingerprint clearance per district requirements.
