Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced School Psychologists for full-time positions with school districts in the Winder, Georgia area for the upcoming school year. Details:
- Location: Winder, GA
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Age group and caseload to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including: - Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification in School Psychology.
- Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised internship in School Psychology.
- Current background check clearance as required by Georgia law and the hiring school district.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
- Prior school-based experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Develop and present reports for multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Participate in crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
