Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced School Psychologists for full-time positions with school districts in the Anderson, Indiana area for the upcoming school year. Details:
- Location: Anderson, IN
- Full Time: 35 hours per week
- Caseload: Age group and caseload to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including: - Valid Indiana School Services License with a School Psychologist endorsement issued by the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE).
- Masters or Specialist-level degree (Ed.S. or Ph.D./Psy.D.) in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised internship in school psychology as required by IDOE.
- Satisfactory completion of an expanded criminal history background check and Child Protection Index (CPI) check, per Indiana law.
- Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Previous school-based experience is preferred.
Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Develop and present reports for multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Participate in crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
