Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time maternity leave coverage position with a partner school district in the Littleton, Colorado area for the Fall 2025 semester.
This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for student support and mental health, who are looking for a short-term but impactful opportunity to make a difference in a school-based setting.
Details:
- Location: Littleton, CO
- Full Time: 40 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $48+ per hour
- Caseload: Age group and caseload to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including: - Hold a valid Special Services Provider License from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) with an endorsement in School Psychology.
- Masters or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Completion of a supervised internship in a school setting.
- Up-to-date background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with CDE standards.
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and MTSS/RTI frameworks.
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Develop and present reports for multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Participate in crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
