Requirements:
All applicants must meet the following qualifications to be considered:

Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Valid Washington State Physical Therapist License issued by the Washington State Department of Health
-
Active OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction) background clearance
-
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
-
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
-
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs using standardized assessments and observational data
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and therapy plans in coordination with IEP teams
-
Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in both individual and group settings
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, progress notes, and reports
-
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other related service providers to support student success
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
-
Provide training and support to school staff on mobility and accessibility strategies
