Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs in the educational setting

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and IEP team members to support student success

Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEPs

Document progress and maintain detailed records

Assist in adapting school environments for improved accessibility and mobility
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Active South Carolina Physical Therapist License

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate)

Must meet South Carolina Department of Education guidelines for school-based services

Previous experience in school settings preferred

Successful completion of background checks and required clearances
