Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Physical Therapists for a part-time role with school districts in the Norwalk, CT area. This opportunity is for the Extended School Year (ESY) program and focuses on a preschool caseload. Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working half days and finishing by 12:00 or 1:00 PM daily.

Responsibilities May Include:

Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine developmental and physical therapy needs

Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

Providing direct therapy services aligned with IEP goals
-
Collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student growth
-
Documenting therapy sessions, progress reports, and maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines
-
Supporting access and mobility within the preschool learning environment
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be eligible, including:

Active Connecticut Physical Therapist License

Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate)

Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and early childhood development

Must meet Connecticut State Department of Education guidelines for physical therapy services in schools

Prior experience with preschool populations or in a school-based setting preferred

Completion of required background checks and fingerprinting
