To be considered for this position, applicants must meet all state and local qualifications, including:

Valid California Occupational Therapist License issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT)

Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

Must pass a criminal background check

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students fine motor, sensory processing, and functional needs

Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEPs
-
Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and services provided
-
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
-
Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and professional development activities
