Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join a general education team in New Orleans for the 20252026 school year. This opportunity is available as a full-time or part-time position depending on your schedule and preference.
This role is a great fit for candidates currently working in schools who are seeking a new district, as well as those looking to transition from clinical settings into a school-based role. Support and mentorship are provided to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services to K12 students in alignment with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals

Conduct assessments, develop reports, and help determine eligibility for services

Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state guidelines

Participate in IEP meetings and help design effective intervention plans
Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Valid Louisiana SLP license or eligibility for licensure

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered with appropriate supervision

School-based experience is preferred but not required
