This role combines on-site and remote responsibilities, providing flexibility while supporting students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development. Contract renewals for the upcoming school year are performance-based and contingent on district needs.

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
-
Develop and support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success

Provide consultation and intervention strategies for academic and behavioral concerns
-
Interpret data and communicate findings to teams in a clear, actionable manner
-
Support crisis response, mental health initiatives, and positive behavior intervention strategies
-
Maintain documentation and reports in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all local and state certification requirements to be considered:

Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

Valid South Carolina School Psychologist Certification (Level II or III preferred) issued by the South Carolina Department of Education

Experience with psychoeducational evaluations and the special education eligibility process

Familiarity with MTSS/RTI, PBIS, and other evidence-based frameworks

Ability to work effectively in both in-person and virtual environments

Must successfully pass background checks and district onboarding requirements
