Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time remote position supporting school districts in the Halifax, North Carolina area. This role offers the flexibility of working from home while delivering essential speech and language services to K12 students. Contract renewals for the next school year are based on performance and district needs.
Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students speech, language, and communication abilities

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs

Deliver engaging and effective remote therapy sessions

Collaborate virtually with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress

Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes and IEP goals
-
Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to the educational planning process
-
Ensure compliance with all state, district, and federal regulations
Requirements:
All applicants must meet North Carolina and district-specific requirements to be considered:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active North Carolina SLP license issued by the NC Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists

Valid NC DPI (Department of Public Instruction) licensure for school-based services

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Minimum of 2 years of prior school-based and/or teletherapy experience strongly preferred
