Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time remote position supporting school districts in the Oneonta, Alabama area. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-impact speech and language services in a virtual setting, with contract renewal for the next school year based on performance and district needs.
Position Overview:

Caseload: K12 students (exact assignment based on district needs)

Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual evaluations and assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct teletherapy services to students in individual or group settings
-
Collaborate remotely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
-
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of services, progress, and compliance requirements
-
Participate in virtual IEP meetings and professional consultations
-
Utilize evidence-based practices and digital tools to enhance virtual therapy sessions
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all state and local requirements to be considered:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active Alabama Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

Valid Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) certification for school-based services

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school-based or teletherapy setting preferred

Reliable internet connection and a secure, HIPAA-compliant remote work environment

Must pass all background checks and district onboarding procedures
