Role Overview:
The Bilingual SLP will evaluate and treat students with speech and language challenges in both English and Spanish. The role includes assessing communication skills, developing IEPs, and supporting teachers and families in providing culturally responsive services.
State Requirements (Texas):

Texas Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required

Texas Education Agency fingerprinting and background clearance required

Must complete Texas-mandated child abuse training
