Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and newly graduated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Lewisville, TX area. This opportunity is for the upcoming 20252026 school year, with contract dates from August 11, 2025 through May 22, 2026.
Caseloads will vary depending on the candidates background and skill set. The district is open to Clinical Fellows (CFYs) and has licensed SLPs available to provide supervision and mentorship.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all Texas state and local requirements, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Current Texas SLP license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
-
Valid Texas Education Agency (TEA) certification for school-based SLPs or willingness to obtain
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required for CFYs

School-based experience preferred but not required

Ability to pass background check and meet district onboarding standards
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs

Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines

Deliver therapy services individually or in small groups

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning

Support communication development in both general and special education settings
