Required Qualifications:
All applicants must meet the following state and district-specific requirements:

Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
-
Prior experience in a school setting is strongly preferred

Completion of required background checks and fingerprinting as mandated by Texas Education Agency (TEA)
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech-language impairments
-
Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
-
Promote student communication skills to enhance classroom participation and social interaction
