Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all local and state licensure requirements, including:

Valid Minnesota School Psychologist License issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB)
-
Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
-
Completion of a supervised internship in school psychology
-
Knowledge of special education laws (IDEA, Section 504, FERPA)
-
Ability to pass all background checks and fingerprinting required by the Minnesota Department of Education
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students

Collaborate with IEP teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct and consultative psychological services to students
-
Support teachers and staff through behavior management strategies and academic interventions
-
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and special education eligibility determinations
-
Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
-
Promote positive school climate and social-emotional learning
