A school district in Yuma, Arizona is actively seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 20252026 school year. This role focuses on supporting students' communication development in a school setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing speech and language services to enhance students' academic success.
Position Highlights:

Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Conduct therapy sessions to support students with speech and language disorders

Collaborate with educators and families to monitor and report on student progress

Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
Requirements:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field

Active Arizona SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain by start date)

Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Must pass fingerprint clearance/background check
