Contract School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - New Hampshire
Are you a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) looking for a rewarding contract opportunity in a supportive school district? We are seeking a skilled COTA to join our team in New Hampshire for both an Extended School Year (ESY) program and the upcoming New School Year (NSY). Location: New Hampshire (Specific district details provided upon inquiry) Discipline: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Extended School Year (ESY) Information:
- Dates: July 7, 2025 July 31, 2025
- Work Hours: Part-time, between 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday - Thursday
New School Year (NSY) Information:
- Dates: August 20, 2025 June 19, 2026
- Hours: Full-time, 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Caseload/Details:
- Primarily 2nd-5th grade caseload
- Must be comfortable servicing preschool students as needed
- Work within an ABA Self-Contained Program
Job Duties May Include:
- Assisting in the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse needs.
- Providing direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress and functional independence.
- Assisting with assessments and data collection related to student goals.
- Adapting and modifying environments to facilitate student participation and learning.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
Special Requirements:
- Active New Hampshire COTA Licensure is required.
- Must have prior school-based experience.
- District fingerprints will be required for this position.
- We prefer candidates who can commit to working both the ESY and NSY periods.
Compensation:
For this contract position, the average hourly rate is $25-$35 based on experience.
