Typical Job Duties:

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments

Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings

Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop appropriate supports

Provide direct counseling and behavior intervention services as needed
-
Develop behavior management plans and strategies
-
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
Required Qualifications:

Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

Valid Virginia license as a School Psychologist
-
Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and RTI/MTSS practices
-
Experience with psychological assessment tools and interpreting results
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Prior school-based experience is preferred
