Qualifications Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement

Completion of a supervised internship in a school setting
-
Compliance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) standards
-
Strong knowledge of special education regulations and procedures
-
Previous experience in schools or with school-aged children preferred
Key Responsibilities May Include:

Conduct psychological and educational assessments
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs
-
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine eligibility for services
-
Provide direct counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis support
-
Monitor student progress and provide consultation to staff on academic and behavioral strategies
-
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
