Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
-
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in individual and group settings
-
Maintain detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
-
Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and professional development activities
-
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to speech services
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following Florida state requirements to be considered:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the Florida Department of Health

Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)

Department of Education Certification may be required depending on district policies

Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

Must pass all required background checks and fingerprint clearance
