Position Details:
Job Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) for students
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
-
Maintain thorough documentation of services provided and student progress
-
Conduct screenings and participate in multidisciplinary evaluations
-
Provide support and consultation to classroom staff regarding speech and language development
-
Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based team discussions
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements for employment in Delaware, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Current Delaware Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Delaware Board of Speech/Language Pathologists, Audiologists, and Hearing Aid Dispensers

Valid Delaware Department of Education (DOE) certification for Speech-Language Pathologists

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though CFs may be considered

Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
