Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, school-based role in the Depew, NY area.
To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Hold a valid New York State Speech-Language Pathologist License

Possess a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Hold a valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
-
Must have or be eligible for a New York State Teaching Certification in Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)

Pass all required state and district background checks
-
Prior school-based or pediatric experience is strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities Include:

Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments
-
Developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans tailored to student needs
-
Providing direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
-
Collaborating with special education staff, families, and other support professionals
-
Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with NYS regulations
