Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all Delaware state and local requirements, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active Delaware SLP License issued by the Delaware Board of Speech/Language Pathologists, Audiologists, and Hearing Aid Dispensers
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
-
Department of Education Certification (or eligibility to obtain certification)
-
Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings

School-based experience strongly preferred
Typical Responsibilities Include:

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or small group settings
-
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student goals
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary teams
-
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
