Position Overview

BlazerJobs is seeking a licensed and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in the Galt, CA area for the 20252026 school year. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to students, helping them succeed in their educational and social development.

Responsibilities

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with identified needs
Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and district policies
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active California SLP License and/or California Teaching Credential (Speech-Language Pathology Services)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Must pass a fingerprint/background check
