Position Overview
BlazerJobs is partnering with a local school district in Mill Valley, CA to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 20252026 academic year. This is a rewarding opportunity to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and support students in achieving communication success in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities

Provide speech and language services to students as directed by the supervising SLP

Assist in implementing treatment plans and IEP goals

Support students in both individual and group settings

Document student progress and maintain accurate service records

Prepare materials and assist in therapy sessions

Collaborate with educational staff to help meet students' speech and language needs
Requirements

Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Current California SLPA license

Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills

Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance
