Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and credentialed School Psychologists for a full-time contract position with a school district in Denton, TX. This opportunity is for the 20252026 school year, running from August 12, 2025 to May 22, 2026. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive psychological services within a supportive school environment.
We are seeking compassionate and collaborative professionals who have experience working with special education students and families, and who meet all local and state requirements for school-based psychological services.

Requirements:

Valid Texas licensure and/or certification to practice as a School Psychologist

Must comply with all state and local educational regulations

Experience with special education students, including participation in IEP processes

Strong interpersonal, assessment, and communication skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services

Participate in IEP meetings and assist in the development of individualized goals

Provide short-term individual and group counseling to address behavioral, emotional, and academic concerns

Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to implement behavioral interventions and support plans

Contribute to data collection and progress monitoring systems

Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines

Provide crisis intervention support as needed
