Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered:

Valid California SLPA License issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board

Completion of an SLPA program approved by the California Speech-Language Pathology Board or equivalent

Previous school-based experience preferred

Ability to pass background checks and fingerprint clearance as required by the school district

Strong communication and organizational skills

Authorization to work in the United States
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering therapy services to students

Implement speech and language intervention plans under supervision
-
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
-
Document student progress and maintain accurate service logs
-
Support data collection and assessment activities
-
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
-
Participate in school-based meetings and collaborate with educational teams
