To be considered, applicants must meet the following state and local requirements:

Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Delaware Board of Speech/Language Pathologists, Audiologists, and Hearing Aid Dispensers

Certification through the Delaware Department of Education as a Speech-Language Pathologist (Standard or Initial License)
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (Clinical Fellows may be considered)
-
Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred

Ability to pass background checks and fingerprint clearance as required by the school district

Authorized to work in the United States
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication needs

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
-
Provide therapy services in individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student outcomes
-
Maintain thorough documentation of services and student progress
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team evaluations
