Job Requirements:

Must hold a valid Louisiana Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license

Completion of an approved SLPA program or associates degree in a related field

Must meet the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (LBESPA) requirements

Must successfully pass background and fingerprint clearances required by the school district and state
Job Duties:
-
Provide speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist

Support students in meeting IEP goals and communication development objectives
-
Assist in preparing therapy materials and documenting student progress
-
Work collaboratively with the school team, attend staff meetings, and contribute to the IEP process

Maintain accurate records in accordance with district policies
