All applicants must meet the following state and local qualifications:

Valid Maine Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the Maine Board of Speech, Audiology, and Hearing

Criminal history record check (CHRC) approval through the Maine Department of Education
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (Clinical Fellows may be considered)
-
Previous school-based experience is preferred

Ability to pass background checks and meet district hiring requirements

Legal authorization to work in the United States
Key Responsibilities:
-
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams
-
Provide direct therapy in individual or group settings
-
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
-
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
-
Participate in school-based meetings and IEP conferences as needed
