Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Valid Washington State COTA license issued by the Washington State Department of Health

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program

Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) through NBCOT
-
Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

Ability to pass background and fingerprint checks as required by the school district

Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
-
Authorization to work in the United States
Typical Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans focused on fine motor, sensory, self-care, and adaptive skills
-
Support students in accessing and participating in school activities
-
Document student progress and maintain accurate service logs
-
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and the supervising OT to support student success
-
Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development
