Minimum Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Valid Colorado SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before the start date)
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Must meet all local and state guidelines for school-based practice
-
Strongly prefer experience working with special education students and families
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and speech/language assessments
-
Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to students' individual needs
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support academic and social success
-
Write and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
-
Maintain accurate records and progress reports according to district and state standards
-
Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
