Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time, short-term contract position in Wilmington, DE. This is a school-based role providing floater coverage across preschool through elementary settings, beginning August 18, 2025 with an end date TBD based on leave coverage needs.
This is a great opportunity for SLPs who thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable working across multiple school sites or age groups. Contract renewal may be possible depending on district needs and job performance.

Minimum Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

Active Delaware SLP license (or ability to obtain before start date)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Must meet all local and state credentialing and certification requirements

Previous experience with special education students and families is highly preferred
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments across a range of ages

Provide direct therapy to students based on IEP goals

Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families to support student success

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state reporting guidelines

Flexibly adapt to the needs of different classrooms, schools, and age groups
