Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be eligible:

Valid Colorado Occupational Therapy License issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)

Certification as a Special Services Provider (SSP) through the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) with an endorsement in Occupational Therapy
-
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Masters degree or higher preferred)
-
Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

Ability to pass background and fingerprint checks required by the school district

Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
-
Authorization to work in the United States
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Evaluate and assess students motor and functional skills to determine eligibility and need for services
-
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support students IEP goals
-
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services in school settings
-
Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation skills
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress
-
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success across learning environments
-
Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
