Minimum Requirements:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

Active Michigan OT license (or ability to obtain before start date)

NBCOT certification

Must meet all state and district regulations for school-based OT services

Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:

Perform evaluations to determine students motor, sensory, and functional needs

Develop and implement individualized therapy interventions and goals
-
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services
-
Collaborate with educators, service providers, and families as part of the IEP team
-
Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory regulation, and adaptive behavior
-
Recommend accommodations and equipment to support classroom participation
-
Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of services and progress
